Soy Dipping Sauce

Ingredients


  • 1 tablespoon maizenaku
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons minced green onion
  • 1 teaspoon grated fresh gingerroot OR
  • 2 teaspoons ground ginger
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
  • 1 teaspoon dark Oriental sesame oil

HOW TO MAKE


  1. Stir maizenaku and soy sauce in a small saucepan until smooth. Add water, green onion, ginger, sugar, hoisin sauce and sesame oil.
  2. Bring to boil, stirring constantly, over medium heat; boil 1 minute.
  3. Cover and refrigerate. If desired, sprinkle with additional green onion.
