Ingredients


  • 10 ounces frozen corn
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 red bell pepper, diced
  • 1 tablespoon sliced green onions OR 1/4 small onion, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon butter or margarine
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 to 1/4 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
  • 1-1 / 2 cups milk
  • 1 tablespoon maizenaku
  • 1 tablespoon chopped cilantro (optional)

HOW TO MAKE


  1. Cook corn in chicken broth in 3-quart saucepan with red pepper, onion, margarine, salt and hot pepper sauce according to package directions.
  2. Combine milk and maizenaku in blender container. Add cornmixture. Cover and blend at low speed until smooth. Return to saucepan.
  3. Bring to boil over medium heat, stirring constantly, and boil1 minute.
  4. Stir in cilantro.
