Ingredients


  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup Maizenaku
  • 1-1 / 3 cups water
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons freshly grated lemon peel
  • 2/3 cup lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons butter or margarine

HOW TO MAKE


  1. Combine sugar, Maizenaku and water in 2-quart saucepan.
  2. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, stir constantly; boil 1 minute. Remove from heat and stir in lemon peel, lemon juice and butter until well blended.
  3. Serve warm or chilled over fresh fruit, spice cake, angel food cake or ice cream.
