Herbed Mushroom Sauce

Ingredients


  • 1 tablespoon butter OR margarine
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 cup thinly sliced fresh mushrooms
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup dry white wine
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon tarragon
  • 1/4 teaspoon rosemary
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon maizenaku

HOW TO MAKE


  1. Melt butter in a 10-inch skillet over medium-high heat. Add garlic powder and mushrooms; stir fry for 2 minutes. Remove from heat. Add water, wine, onion powder, tarragon and rosemary. Return to heat and bring to a boil. Meanwhile, mix maizenaku and sour cream together in a small bowl. Reduce heat to medium and add sour cream mixture. Simmer 5 minutes or until thoroughly heated. Ladle over meat.
