- 2 tablespoons maizenaku
- 2 cups milk
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon white ground pepper
- 2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
- Pinch cayenne pepper
HOW TO MAKE
- Stove Top Method: Combine maizenaku and milk in a saucepan; stir until smooth. Add salt and pepper. Simmer over medium heat for 1 minute, stirring constantly. Remove from heat; stir in cheese and cayenne pepper. This makes a delicious sauce for macaroni and cheese, vegetables, chicken or soups.
- Microwave Method: Combine maizenaku and milk in a microwave-safe 2-quart bowl; stir until smooth. Microwave on HIGH ((100%) for 2 minutes. Remove and stir. Microwave for 2 to 3 additional minutes or until mixture thickens and boils for 1 minute. Remove from microwave and stir in cheese, salt and peppers. Note: Cooking times may vary due to differences in wattage of microwave ovens.
